NEBOSH (The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) was formed in 1979 as an independent examining board and awarding body with charitable status in United Kingdom. NEBOSH offer a comprehensive range of globally-recognised, vocationally-related qualifications designed to meet the Health, Safety, Environmental and Risk management. These qualifications are accepted worldwide.

NEBOSH qualifications have become essential in many countries for employment. Professional Membership organisations like IEMA, IOSH and IIRSM accepts NEBOSH qualification for different levels of membership categories.

Institution of Occupational Safety and Health is the chartered body for Health and Safety Professionals around the globe and situated in United Kingdom. With more than 40,000 members IOSH is the world’s biggest Health and Safety Professional membership organization. The City and Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety is designed for those who have general health and safety responsibilities in the workplace. This qualification aims to equip candidates with a core understanding of how to identify and manage workplace hazards and promote a positive health and safety culture. For those who have authoritative responsibilities, the City and Guilds Level 5 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety aims to help candidates develop the appropriate skills to devise and implement good practice within a broad range of health and safety matters.

NVQ Level 5 Diploma (health & safety) course is available through ProQual at our Training Centre in Uganda.

The ProQual NVQ level 5 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice is evaluated entirely based upon each candidate’s individual competency.
